Hi, my name is Heather LeBeau. Like most little girls, I began dancing around the age of five. I started in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. I continued taking lessons though high school. I have always loved to dance but stopped after I graduated from Texas A&M University.

However, everything changed in 2005 with the premier season of Dancing with the Stars. After watching the first season of DWTS, I decided I wanted to dance again. I got up the nerve to call Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Dallas to sign up for lessons.

I have been lucky to participate in quite a few competitions and performances with my fabulous instructors, Ian Kelley and Justin Brown. In fact, they helped me find the confidence to make a career change in 2008. In June of 2008, I was lucky to be selected for Teaching Artist training with Dancing Classrooms of North Texas. I was so excited for the opportunity to share my love of dance with the 5th grade ladies and gentlemen of North Texas. I have been privileged to teach in Dallas ISD, Fort Worth ISD, HEB ISD, and Arlington ISD.

After six years of being a Teaching Artist, I can say that pursuing my dream of teaching children has been a great experience and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.
